JOHN FERGO: John Fergo’s passion for music has been a lifelong journey, kicking off with metal in his youth, eventually leading him to the hypnotic rhythms of electronic music, that have captivated him over the last decade and a half. Having experienced the sounds and scenes of Ibiza, Berlin, Croatia, the US and of course Australia, although John Fergo’s musical journey has been decades in the making, this sound sensor really is only just getting started. Track selector, groove master, John Fergo’s tunes match his persona – both are highly contagious!!!
JAVIER VIDELA: Originally hailing from Chile but now calling Newcastle home, Javier Videla is a true crate digger and his enthusiasm for the vinyl artform really does shine through to each dancefloor he graces, no matter what equipment he chooses to play on. With a deep, warm and minimal yet uplifting sound, Javier Videla musical journey has taken him to grace the stages of Harbour Festival and S.A.S.H in Sydney, as well as hosting events at the Botany View Hotel, The Lansdowne Hotel and Cooks Hill SLSC. Javier Videla is a name that really is only on the rise in the underground music scene.
TOMEK: With a forward thinking and mutli-dimensional sound, Tomek takes revellers on a musical journey with his deep, groovy synths and minimal tech sounds, with a hint of breaks, sprinkled throughout. In 2014, Tomek and Phil Smart established Colour Sound, hosting parties in Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane. Tomek’s sounds have taken him to grace the stages at S.A.S.H, Subsonic, SubClub, Return to Rio and Burning Seed, a true testament to his commitment to the artform and his unwavering ability. With decades of experience behind the decks, Tomek truly is a staple of the underground house music scene, not only in Newcastle but Australia-wide.
SIMON BRAYFORD: Currently based in Newcastle, Simon originally carved out his trademark sounds in Sydney's local house music scene. Dishing out his sound through avenues like his ‘Bliss podcast’ series and the legendary S.A.S.H parties, his sets range from carefully constructed warm-ups with intimate sounds that blanket and envelope with a low slung, blissful euphoria to the deep, chugging grooves more synonymous with the late-night club sound and everywhere in-between. When the illustrious S.A.S.H parties were well and truly in their infancy, Simon Brayford was a regular on the lineup, often frequenting their original venues including the Abercrombie Hotel and Home The Venue. This depth in music shines through onto every stage, set and mix that Simon Brayford creates and permeates.
