Blanco aka Joshua Emmanuel Pinto João Eduardo, bekend als de oprichter van het baanbrekende drill-collectief The Harlem Spartans, blijft grenzen verleggen met zijn kenmerkende stijl. Blanco groeide op met grote familiebijeenkomsten en Braziliaanse kabeltelevisieshows. Die invloed hoor je duidelijk in zijn solowerk, dat gekenmerkt wordt door de warme Braziliaanse baile funkbeats en doordachte teksten.
Van zijn wortels in de Londense drill scene tot zijn solo-avonturen waarin hij een soulvolle mix van afroswing, baile funk en rapfilosofieën integreert, Blanco groeit aan een razendsnel tempo.
Hij heeft al samenwerkingen achter de rug met onder andere Central Cee, KTrap en Ama Lou en wordt terecht gezien als 'the next big thing' van het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
