Blak Seeds Fest has a new date! We can’t wait to celebrate First Nations culture, music, and art with you on Thursday 6th March!Come celebrate the incredible talent of First Nations artists at our mini festival! This vibrant event will feature live music, artist stalls, art exhibition and hands-on workshops—fun for the whole family! It’s a unique chance to dive into the creativity and excellence of First Nations artists, while fostering connections between artists and the community.

Bring your friends, a picnic rug and enjoy this uplifting experience that highlights the rich cultural heritage and artistic achievements of First Nations communities.
In the lead up to the mini-fest, a dynamic exhibition with both emerging and established artists will be displayed in our Ballroom Gallery from February 24 – March 6, Monday to Friday, 9 am -5 pm. This is an extended chance to experience the inspiring works of First Nations artists and connect with their creativity and stories.
Carclew is committed to amplifying First Nations voices and creating opportunities for underrepresented and seldom-heard voices. We encourage children from all backgrounds, in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, to participate in our workshops.
