The Blackwood Christmas Pageant will parade down Main Road, Blackwood on Friday the 6th of December.Supported by the City of Mitcham and run by the Lions Club of Blackwood in conjunction with the Waite Electorate Office, the Pageant will begin on the corner of Gulfview Road and Main Road at 6:30pm. The Pageant will showcase 55 floats and has been a much loved community event for the past 59 years. Event is followed by the Blackwood Christmas Fair at Waite Street Reserve.
The Pageant begins at the corner of Gulfview Road and Main Road and will proceed along Main Road to Young Street, turning right onto Waite Street and finishing at the Waite Street Reserve. Father Christmas will be available for a chat and a photo at Waite Street Reserve at the end of the parade. Residents are encouraged to bring chairs and rugs!
Road closures will be in place from 5:30pm.
