Come hear some dynamic voices as they share their journeys from higher education to careers during our "blackVOICESnow@ShawUniversity: "Career Motivations & Pathway: Seen & Unseen". We will present a dynamic group of speakers who will deliver inspiring words to help motivate and inspire Shaw students and the local community to stay focused and press to complete their college educations and to strive toward dreams. The event will be held on March 20, 2025 on the campus of the historic Shaw University. The event is being held in partnership with the Shaw University Experiential Learning and Career Development Office of Shaw University, the Shaw University Student Government Association, and Sankofa Innovations, LLC. The event is free to students, the administration, the faculty, and the community.

"" is a new initiative offered to provide speaking opportunities to young and old, up and coming minority and underrepresented speakers. In many instances, budding speakers have a tough time finding stages where they can deliver their inspiring talks. To break into the speaking market, video reels, and experience are needed. "" seeks to provide those stages for speakers to gain that valuable experience and video/audio footage.
