This year we will be trying something new and replacing weight classes with skill divisions, meaning we now have the following divisions:
Foundations
Pre-Intermediate
Adaptive
Masters (Pre-Intermediate)
Winners of the Pre-Intermediate, Adaptive and Masters categories will have their first NSW Strongest 2026 qualifier fully covered! If you're looking to compete in NSW Strongest 2026, this is the category for you! NSW Strongest 2026 is also a pathway to the Arnolds Pro-Am 2027 in Columbus, Ohio so it's entirely possible this is the start of your road to Arnolds!
Events are:
Farmers Carry Ladder (weight increases every 10m up to four times, then as far as you can go at the heaviest weight
Overhead Medley (Log, Axle, Monster Dumbbell in any order)
Axle Bar Deadlift for Reps (on wagon wheels or truck tires, bar is 12 inches off the floor)
Carry Medley (Sandbag, Anvil, Zercher Yoke 10m each in any order)
Sandbag over Bar for reps (1.2m bar height for all divisions except Masters Men and Pre-Intermediate Men who will do to 1.3m)
