About this Event

Must have taken at least one Blacksmithing for Beginners class before. In this class, you will be able to learn more advanced movements of metal. This class has more guidance with a max of two students. You will be using a hammer, anvil and more advanced tools to create advanced forms. To have a better understanding of the principles of blacksmithing there will be more in-depth conversations on tools, history and science.

Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Bring your own water.

Class is open to all ages, though minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Face coverings are required. Masks must cover the nose and mouth, as mandated in NC. Hand sanitizer and bathrooms are available for hand washing during the event. Guests will be asked to maintain social distance during the class.

Brooks Building is located around the back by the parking lot across the street from the church.
