BlackOut presents an unrestricted midsummer night of beats at the Colour Factory.
About this Event

Join the BlackOut fundraiser as we soundtrack your midsummer night with sugary treats of the refined kind.

Gracing the decks is multi-instrumentalist and producer Wu-Lu with his signature sound that genre-hops between left-field beats, punk and more.

Hip-Hop Jazz trio JD3 enter with a live performance inspired by soulful melodies and rhythms from the great J Dilla and beyond.

South Londoner Cyndi Handson (No Long Ting / Peckham Palms / Brixton Village Lates) curates her legendary curriculum to educate us with everything local to global, classics and new.

Balamii resident, Photographer and Director, Denisha Anderson (Stir Fry w/ D-Vibes) rounds off the line up with an eclectic record shop’s worth of summery vibes and energy.

Appropriate footwear for the dance is advised, see you front left.

BlackOut is a grassroots activist event series that celebrates Black creativity and raises money for Black lives. Whether it’s intimate club nights in dark basements, candlelit gigs on rooftops, panels, film screenings or something else entirely, a BlackOut event always mixes the passion of a protest with the joy of a festival.
