Join Blackburn Chamber Choir for an upper voices Come and Sing event supporting International Women’s Day.For over a hundred years, International Women’s Day has belonged to all those who care about women’s equality and who celebrate women’s achievements. It exists to tackle discrimination, takes action to forge gender parity and address the issues that impact women’s advancement.
Sopranos and Altos are invited to come and sing a selection of music by female composers, including works by Hildegard von Bingen, Clara Schumann and Isabella Leonarda.
