BlackAmericana Fest 2025: Uncovering Untold StoriesThe groundbreaking BlackAmericana Fest returns for its second year in New Orleans—celebrating the rich, radical, and often overlooked legacy of Black roots music. This is more than a music festival—it’s a cultural reclamation, a community celebration, and a space where untold stories take center stage.

Join us for a weekend filled with live music, storytelling, food, and fellowship as we honor the Black artists and traditions that shaped Americana, folk, country, and beyond.

🎶 What to Expect:

  • Two powerful days of performances across three stages at The Broadside and Broad Theater
  • Our Roots of Rhythm panel series featuring headlining artists Dom Flemons, Sunny War, Bruce "Sunpie" Barnes, and other notable musical scholars from across the region
  • Soul-stirring tributes, genre-bending sets, and emerging Black artists pushing roots music forward
  • Local vendors, delicious food, and an atmosphere of celebration and connection
  • All ages and family-friendly! Kids' activities available, and children under 11 receive free admission
