Featuring episodes from the third series of the hit BBC Sitcom, BLACKADDER THE THIRD at The Blue Room promises a feast of fun and frolics plus a two-course meal served in The Lawn Cafe @ Stokes (transformed into Mrs Miggins' Pie Shop for the night!)
Arrive from 6pm for drinks in the Cafe, before dinner is served at 6.45pm. After dinner, you'll head upstairs into The Blue Room for three episodes of Blackadder III, featuring all your comedy favourites, and an interval during which The Blue Room Bar will be open for drinks.

ABOUT THE SHOW
He may not have the aristocratic birth of his Elizabethan ancestor but Blackadder III possesses the same biting wit and cunning intellect. Eager to climb up from his humble social position, Blackadder's Machiavellian desire for wealth and power will see him step on anyone (providing their smaller than him and he as a good running start) in his quest for a comfy life. Accompanying him, through the generations, is his dogsbody, another member of the intellectually and hygienically challenged Baldrick family, and an unlikely ally in local coffee-shop proprietor Mrs Miggins.
Together Blackadder and Baldrick serve the vain and idiotic Prince George, "described by almost everyone as a fat, flatulent git". Their misadventures are brilliantly woven together, meeting highwaymen and historical figures from William Pitt the Younger and Dr Johnson to a collection of mad actors and the villainous "Shadow".
