About this Event

Black Youth in Philanthropy is an event that will showcase the work of Black Youth Initiative (BYI) and the work we do to share mutual aid efforts and resource redistribution among Indigenous and Black youth in BC which is vital for supporting our communities. You will hear from BYI co-founders about their experiences in creating and managing the fund as well as from grantees of the Indigenous and Black Youth Community Action Grant (formerly Indigenous and Black Youth Fund) and their various projects.

Please note:

  • Doors open at 2:45pm.
  • Food and drinks will be provided.
  • Masking is required (we will have masks available at the entrance).
