About this Event
This is an opportunity for the Richmond community to hear, learn, experience and share about mental health from the Black perspective. There will be various Black therapists, community mental health providers, and artists/creatives speaking, performing and vending as well as participating in a panel discussion on pertinent topics related to Black mental health and wellness. The vision of this event is to highlight mental health from the Black perspective, provide immediate access to mental health service providers, provide mental health education, reduce the stigma around mental health and ultimately to increase access by breaking down barriers. Additionally, we aim to support local Black providers, artists and businesses in the process. This event is open to ALL races, ethnicities, genders, ages, sexual orientations, etc. THIS IS A SAFE SPACE.
Light snacks & refreshments will be provided.
This event will be mostly standing room, with limited seating available for those who need it.
A very limited amount of sponsored (free) tickets will be available to those who are in need of mental health support who would otherwise be unable to attend, so please be mindful and only use a sponsored ticket if you are unable to afford a GA ticket.
