On Saturday August 17, 2024, Black VegFest celebrates what would be the 137th birthday of the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey.
We celebrate Garvey's teachings of self-determination, cultural pride and his emphasis on the African Diaspora.
We lift his legacy and his message of self-determination for Black people and we gain inspiration as we honor him during Black August, a month filled with Black liberation achievements.

Black VegFest offers free access to Liberation & Wellness. Enjoy live performances and enlightening lectures and powerful workshops for the vegan in you.
All types of vendors offer vegan food, merchandise, information and services!
Attendees of all ages and demographics are welcome to shop, mingle, chill, learn and play!
Black VegFest is an intentional educational space for all humans to learn and build. We center animals and historically marginalized humans.
In addition to your free admission to Black VegFest, attendees have the opportunity to choose one free gift:
1. A Free Gathering at Liberation Farm June 28-30 for Black individuals and families for fun, healing, rest, and learning about our food system
-First-time visitors will need to fill out an application...You will receive an application after today's transaction.
-ALL VISITORS: Bring your VEGAN Food or Purchase Vegan Food at Liberation Farm. Bring your Tent or Rent a Tent at Liberation Farm. Liberation Farm will help guide first-time campers through virtual camping classes.
2. Organic Vegetable Seeds by Liberation Farm for everyone
3. Volunteer at Liberation Farm for everyone at one of two farm locations
