The Black Rifle Coffee Company locations in Oklahoma are proud to host a special event on Wednesday, March 29th celebrating local Veterans with activities at both locations to acknowledge the 50th anniversary of National Vietnam Veterans Day. Each Vietnam Veteran in attendance will receive a White House issued certificate and a special Vietnam Veteran pin during the ceremony. Events include recognizing two distinguished Veterans, Lance Corporal Dale K. Graham and Specialist Five Dwight Birdwell for their acts of bravery serving our country. Join us as we welcome our heroes and celebrate with coffee and pastry, conversation and connections along with raffles and giveaways.
Lance Corporal Dale K. Graham will be awarded for his continued service and devotion in forming the Dale K. Graham Veterans Foundation, where he has helped more than 30,000 living veterans and surviving spouses file benefit claims. Specialist Five Dwight Birdwell will be awarded for his heroic selflessness on the battlefield. Despite being wounded in the face, neck, chest, and arms, he took the post of his injured tank captain and continued to engage enemy troops, while moving wounded soldiers to safety and refusing medical treatment for himself.
The event is in honor of National Vietnam Veterans Day, and this year is the 50th anniversary of “Operation Homecoming” when over 600 POWs were brought home. We will be partnering with the VA, Dale K Graham, and the Red Cross. Come in and donate at Black Rifle Coffee Company to benefit the veterans or show up to support and thank a veteran.
