Join us for an engaging public forum featuring Dr. Mark Broomfield, Associate Professor of English and Founding Director of Performance as Social Change at SUNY Geneseo. The evening will include a live dance performance and a presentation of Dr. Broomfield’s new book, Black Queer Dance: Gay Men and the Politics of Passing for Almost Straight. He will be joined by Prof. Gentry George of New World School of the Arts for a thought-provoking dialogue exploring key themes from the book. Prof. George is the Artistic Director of Zest Collective and Professor of Dance at Miami Dade College's New World School of the Arts.
