Black Polish is the project of Los Angeles–based musician and producer Jayden Nicole Binnix, who began writing and recording music at just 13. Drawing inspiration from artists like Twenty One Pilots, Fleetwood Mac, Nicki Minaj, Melanie Martinez, and Mitski, they blend pop, alt-rock, and indie sensibilities into a sound that’s both bold and emotive. After debuting with the single “Sophie” in 2020 and the EP Out of Place in 2021—which landed on major Spotify playlists like New Music Friday and Lorem—Black Polish quickly gained momentum, collaborating with Brett “Leland” McLaughlin on “Armageddon” for Netflix’s Love, Victor and surpassing 5 million streams by age 17. Now signed to Riptide Music Group and Rough Trade Publishing, Black Polish continues to expand their creative world through evocative new releases and dynamic live performances.
