Black Parent Pride Summit

Parents, we cannot wait to host you for an invigorating weekend of Black Queer Parent Empowerment.

This year xHood is bringing in parents (and soon to be parents) from all over for an amazing weekend of deep connections and intentional community building. This is our FIRST year, and the theme is VILLAGE. We must be intentional about seeking out the support we need for our families to thrive. We are spotlighting who we support, where we can make an impact, and most importantly, what we will leave for our children and our queer community.

The inaugural Black Parent Pride Summit will focus on making sure our community feels empowered and confident in our ability ti build happy families and nurture happy children.

We’ll look back at our journey from where we have come as Black LGBTQ+ Moms and Parents, explore where we have grown into xHood, and look forward as we provide perspectives and resources to ensure that Black Queer Parents are able to heal ourselves and heal the relationships we need to leave a beautiful world for our children.

To celebrate a fantastic inaugural summit, join us for The Village in the Sky. Held at a stunning downtown Atlanta rooftop venue. The evening will be a celebratory night of dancing, awards, cocktails, and more.
