Step into winter and try something new with our Let’s Move: Snowshoeing Event! ❄️🥾 Join us on March 7, 2026 from 10:00am–12:00pm for a fun, welcoming outdoor experience focused on movement, fresh air, and community connection in partnership with Kanata Nordic Ski Club’s We All Belong community program. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE!

No experience required! We’ll be exploring the snowshoe trail network at a leisurely pace. Wear comfortable winter boots (no heels) to attach the snowshoes to and dress warmly (toque, gloves or mitts, warm socks). Pack a water bottle since there is no running water onsite. You can wear a small packback or waistpak on the trails if you like. Washrooms are porta-potties. There’s a small cabin to warm up in but we’ll be outside most of the time.
This session includes the snowshoes (we don’t use poles) and access to the trail network and is lead by Kanata Nordic’s knowledgeable volunteers. Bring a friend (or make a few new ones!), enjoy the beauty of winter trails, and discover how good it feels to move together outdoors. No pressure—just good vibes, community, and a shared winter adventure. ❄️
Light snacks will be provided at the end.
