Black Nurses & Midwives UK (BNM UK) are launching their website and are excited to celebrate this milestone with you.

BNM UK was founded in the midst of the pandemic, catalysed by the death of George Floyd and where the unprecedented events resulted in the redeployment of many healthcare professionals. The realities of not being heard, supported and listened to led to connecting with other nurses and midwives who felt the same. A sense of urgency arose to "champion" us during these unfamiliar times, this resulted in the formation of a community to build new relationships and create a sense of belonging.

The BNM UK Summit will be a safe space for black students, nurses, midwives to connect. This will be a supportive environment of elevating your healthcare career, networking and sharing. This will also enable professionals to inspire and uplift each other.

This event will also allow for peer to peer mentoring, where professionals can help each other achieve personal and professional success. Also sharing self-care tips and how we can better support our mental health and well-being.

Whether you are open to sharing your experience, or you just want to listen to others, or you just want to meet new people, or celebrate with the BNM UK community, this is the event for you!
