Celebrate Black Music Month & Juneteenth with the Urban Choral Arts Society!
About this Event

Celebrate Black Music Month with The Urban Choral Arts Society! This year’s Black Music Month Concert is titled, “Freedom’s Journey" where we celebrate the contributions of African Americans to the world of music. Through Spirituals, Gospel, R&B, & Pop, we're journeying through time and featuring music that has woven our nation's rich heritage. Clearly this is a program packed with excitement and a variety of music planned for children and families of all ages!

We will be awarding our annual scholarship to our graduating high school senior, Janie Hughes. With the event being held on Juneteenth, this event is open to all ages. This concert will be held outdoors in the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center's Amphitheater. Black-owned business vendors will be on site.

If you are a Black-owned business interested in vending, please call Roland Douglas (443) 956-8554.
