About this Event

Black youths are at a higher risk for depression, anxiety and other mental health struggles than their non-Black peers (Jed Foundation, 2023).

At Black Minds Matter UK, we understand the need for accessible and culturally sensitive mental health support for the Black community, which is why we're excited to be coming to your University to deliver a FREE 1.5-hour event, designed entirely with Black students in mind.

What you can expect:

● Access to a psychologically safe space curated by a team of Black and Black Mixed heritage professionals.

● A broad understanding of the unique challenges faced by young Black students

● A therapist-led panel discussion, interactive polls and Q+A

● Exclusive access to a FREE practical tool-based session, led by a Black Minds Matter UK therapist, hosted on 13th November as a follow-up to this event.
