Communitas, the Innovation Hub for Ministry with Young Adults at Yale Divinity School, is thrilled to present Black Liturgies: An Evening with Cole Arthur Riley!
Join us on Friday, Spetember 20th at 6pm in Marquand Chapel for a night filled with powerful stories and poignant reflections from Cole Arthur Riley as she shares about the creation of Black Liturgies and reflectsts on innovation and community building with the next generation. This in-person gathering promises to be a soul-stirring experience that you won't want to miss. Come and be inspired by the beauty of black liturgy and the transformative power of the black religious and literary traditions. YDS students and Communitas cohort members are invited to join Dr. Almeda Wright and Dr. Melanie Ross for a special Liturgy Writing Workshop ahead of the main event. Attendees will learn more about the purpose and significance of liturgy and practice crafting their own words for worship that are resonate with their personal spiritual communities and context. Dinner provided. Separate registration required.
