Description: Join us for a powerful community presentation of the upcoming documentary, Black Life On The Upper Mississippi River, created by filmmaker and longtime Dubuque resident Dale L. Campbell Jr. This project explores the often-overlooked history of Black families, laborers, river workers, and community leaders who shaped life along the Mississippi River—from the 1800s to today. Through personal stories, rare photos, historical research, and striking visuals, this film brings their legacy to life.
