Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival- MOVEMENT
Features the work of accomplished, professional dancers as well as the integration of members of our junior company, Samaras, whose participation will benefit their growth both as aspiring dancers and as young Black men. Throughout the development of our ballet we will engage underserved communities of DC in the power of dance theater, particularly in telling stories that not only feature Black men but center Black men. This ballet will involve us going through many chapters an obstacles we have faced and this first starts by looking in the mirror.
