8th annual community event where we walk to raise awareness about the stark rate of Black infant deaths. In the United States we see extremely high rates of infant deaths for Black American babies. We walk to bring attention to this cause and raise awareness about the work being done locally to combat this issue in our community.
Walk with us! You can join us as we reopen our building for the first time in two years! We'll be meeting at the Kansas City Health Department at 2400 Troost Ave. and make our way to Uzazi Village at 4232 Troost Ave. Shuttles will be provided back to the Health Department for event attendees.
If you're not in the area, grab a BIMAW shirt and plan your own route in solidarity!
