Black History Studies presents a special event 'An Audience with Alex Pascall OBE' on Sunday 1 December 2024.

Alex Pascall is a living legend and an Islington resident. Born in Grenada, he arrived in England in the 1950s, hosted Black Londoners – the ground-breaking first Black daily radio show on BBC Radio London for 14 years where he interviewed stars such as Bob Marley, Angela Davis and Muhammad Ali, co-founded the Voice – Britain’s first national Black newspaper, and ran the Notting Hill carnival.

This screening will take place on Sunday 1st December 2024 from 15:00 to 17:30 GMT at The Black Cultural Centre Islington, 16–18 Hornsey Road, London, N7 7BT. Nearest tube station is Holloway Road (Piccadilly Line). Free on street parking.

Admission is FREE but donations will be welcome to support the work we do.
