Please join us on SAT Feb 28 th at 1 pm, as we commemorate “Black History Month” with a Tribute to the African American Servicemen and Servicewomen The Display of Colors will be done by The Veterans from Samuel R. Shelton VFW Post 2294 in Jersey City. This VFW provides resources for veterans and their families. Our Feed the Vets program reaches out to Jersey City Military Veterans, friends, and family members. VFW Post 2294 provides hot meals, a place to sit with fellow Veterans, enjoy the camaraderie, gather valuable information on benefits from materials presented or from a guest speaker. In addition, VFW Post 2294 holds an annual Appreciation Day to honor those who have assisted Veterans.
