Black History Month Collaging the Self Workshop
Join artist Gherdai Hassell for a reflective and joy-filled collaging workshop celebrating Black identity, beauty, and self-recognition. In this creative session, we’ll explore the art of giving ourselves our flowers, honouring who we are, where we come from, and the ways we continue to bloom.
Through guided reflection and intuitive collage-making, participants will create vibrant, layered portraits inspired by memory, heritage, and imagination. This is a space for self-love, storytelling, and collective celebration, no art experience required, just an open heart and a willingness to play.
