About this Event
Celebrate Black History Month with an evening of art, music, and culture at Trebly Park! Participate in African Arts: The Re-Education Project workshops by Dance Afrikana, where you can create tie-dye designs, collages, beaded jewelry, and masks. Groove to a alive DJ as the park comes alive with rhythm and creativity. At 7 PM, experience Pan-African Passport, a vibrant performance by Kucheza Ngoma Dance Company. Through colorful drumming and dance, this showcase chronicles the influence of the African Diaspora on dance, beginning with traditional West African rhythms and progressing through the Caribbean and into the Americas. This family-friendly event is a joyful celebration of heritage, unity, and artistic expression!
