Featuring original poetry by Houston Poet Laureates Deborah DEEP Mouton and Emanuelee “Outspoken” Bean, the performance journeys through the contributions of historical figures like Queen Nefertiti, Duke Ellington, and Ketanji Brown Jackson, illustrating the vital role African Americans have played in shaping American history.
