About this Event
February Black History Show — Where History Swings, Sings & Testifies
Presented by Sweet Baby J’ai
This February, Black history isn’t a chapter—it’s a live, immersive performance.
Sweet Baby J’ai invites you to an unforgettable Black History Month celebration honoring Black legacy through music, story, movement, and soul. Blending live musicians, powerhouse vocals, and immersive video elements, this experience brings history off the page and onto the stage.
Featuring timeless songs made famous by legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Gregory Hines, and other iconic Black artists from history, the show moves through jazz-rooted truths, rhythm-driven joy, and moments of testimony that still shape today’s culture.
From struggle turned into soundtracks to resistance transformed into art, this evening celebrates the artists, ancestors, and culture-makers who set the tempo for everything cool, courageous, and creative.
