About this Event
A Donation-Based Pilates Extravaganza
In honor of Black History Month and LGBTQ History Month, Fringe Pilates is offering a special weekend of donation-based reformer Pilates classes rooted in accessibility, care, and embodied celebration.
This offering is about lowering barriers while still honoring the labor, skill, and intention it takes to hold space. Donation-based, not free, because c’mon… we Black too over here.
Movement is one of the most accessible tools we have for care, regulation, and longevity. This weekend is an invitation to move together, listen to your body, and be in community.
About the Classes
These are all-levels reformer Pilates classes designed to support strength, mobility, and nervous system regulation. Whether you are brand new to Pilates or a regular mover, you are welcome here.
Come as you are. Move at your pace. Rest when you need to.
Why Donation-Based?
Access to wellness is not equal, and we know that time, money, and energy are all real considerations. This offering exists to make movement more accessible while still sustaining the people and space holding it.
Give what you can. More if you’re able. Less if that’s what’s available.
What to Know Before You Come
• All classes take place on reformer equipment
• Space is limited and registration/waivers are required
• Socks with grip are recommended
• Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in and note that we only have a 6 minute grace period!
We’re excited to move with you, honor this moment, and hold space together.
