You are invited to attend a luncheon hosted by the Black Hills Military Advisory Coalition. September's program will feature special guest, Scott Jacobson, Public Affairs Officer for the Black Hills National Forest and Tyson Steiger, Director of Sales, CTA for Visit Rapid City.Mr. Jacobson will focus on topical issues regarding the history of the Black Hills National Forest and it being one of the busiest multiple use forests in the nation; including logging, recreation (OHV’s, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking, hunting, etc, mineral exploration and mining) and working to preserve our history by protecting archaeological and historical sites that help tell our story.
Mr. Steiger will inform and share the impact of our visitor economy, Visit Rapid City as an asset to our community and how tourism contributes to the quality of life to our Armed Forces Community.
Our goal through these public events is to engage the larger Black Hills community in support of our local military mission, members, and their families.
