About this Event
The Comedy
Doors open at 6:30. Comedians (20 spots available) will have 4-5 minutes to show their stuff. We will also allow a few folks to share funny tweets or texts from their phones. No experience is required. We want to create a safe space for folks to share their jokes and speak their truth. This is an 18+ event and jokes can be sexually explicit. However, we will not allow jokes that punch down or disrespect oppressed groups. If you use slurs or punch down, we will end your set (and you will probably be booed).
The Craft: Custom Jeans
If comedy isn't your thing, we will have crafting stations and henna set up throughout the venue. This month, we're decorating jeans! We'll have fabric paint, stencils, leather tassels, embroidery floss, and iron-on patches. Bring a denim garment, and let's get to work.
About the Venue
We are proud to be hosted by The Future Gallery for this event. They are downtown Atlanta's only Black-Owned Art Gallery and a crucial member of Atlanta's thriving art ecosystem. Visitors can enjoy the works of several artists during the event.
How to get to the Venue
Future Gallery is located at Underground Atlanta, but it's above ground on the street with the food trucks and barbershop. If you're using MARTA, you can exit at the Five Points MARTA station and BOOM Underground Atlanta is right there. Future Gallery is "above ground" and right next to the barbershop and food truck area. if you can't find the entrance, try googling "Dancing Crepe". It's right across the street. There are also several paid parking decks and street parking nearby.
This event is 420 friendly, and there is a cash bar inside.
Event Pricing

Benefit for the Creatives of Habit Documentary
Our co-host, Cee Will, is one of the subjects for the Creatives of Habit Documentary. It's a documentary that highlights the journies of four Atlanta creatives. Please consider donating to their IndieGogo Campaign to make this film a reality. At our April Craft n Comedy night, we are hosting an auction of items to raise funds and awareness for the campaign.
