Welcome to Black Girl Rising, Inc. Love Yourself Summer Wellness Camp!
For Girls 13-18. Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 16 - August 1 at The Good Haus on 966 S. South High Street in Columbus, OH, USA. (July 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30th, and August 1st).
This camp is all about empowering young black girls to embrace wellness. Tuesdays we will have workshops on: self-defense, empowered painting, caring for your body, stress reduction techniques, spoken word,understanding your emotions, soothing teas for you, book club, aromatherapy, journaling, and more!
Thursdays we will have field trips! We will be going to the National Afro-American Museum & Cultural Center at Wilberforce University, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, and an Adventure at The Wilds!
We will have a continental breakfast and health lunch daily. Our camp is designed to help girls build inner strength and voice. Come and connect with other girls, learn new skills, and most importantly, love yourself! Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to grow and thrive. See you there!
