Join our Black Folx Book Club for a sunset sail!
This month we’re taking our reading space for Black women and Black queers onto Baltimore’s waters! We’ll be casually chatting about the August pick, by Jodie Slaughter, but having read the book is not a requirement! This is an opportunity to connect and chat books while enjoying the Baltimore harbor and sunset.
Regularly, The Black Folx Book Club meets in person at our Remington store, but this time we’ll be meeting on the Fells Point Baltimore Water Taxi.
Please purchase your ticket here to let us know you'll join us!
We'll head out from -- and return to -- the Fells Point water taxi stop at 901 S Broadway, and spend two hours enjoying the ride and a gorgeous view of the Baltimore sunset. Your ticket gets you a seat on the boat, a glass of bubbly, and snacks! (If you want to bring your own food or drinks, you are welcome to!)
Due to the nature of this event, we are unable to offer refunds except in the case of emergency or illness. Please contact the store if you have any questions, or extenuating circumstances. In the case of bad weather, we'll contact you with ride information, including any cancellations or reschedulings.
