About this Event
The Billie will spotlight independent Black filmmakers and visionary storytellers with its inaugural Black Film Symposium - “I Got a Story to Tell”: A Day of Black Cinema.
Curated by filmmaker & programmer Tayler Montague, the symposium is an immersive exploration into the breadth of Black filmmaking. Attendees can expect to see narrative and documentary films, as well as shorts by local filmmakers. In addition, there will be workshops & panels that further illuminate the multifaceted ways of engaging moving images and dreaming up Black cinematic futures.
The day will include light refreshments.
