About this Event
Black Film Club Collective Presents: Matinee + Mimosas at Three Cities Social
Join us for a Sunday afternoon rooted in cinema, conversation, and community. Matinee + Mimosas is our signature daytime film series celebrating Black storytelling—paired with bottomless mimosas and an easygoing, welcoming atmosphere.
This edition spotlights the early work of Barry Jenkins with his intimate debut feature, Medicine for Melancholy. Set against a beautifully observed San Francisco, the film explores Black love, longing, and vulnerability with quiet power—offering a tender meditation on connection, identity, and place.
