Please join us to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the book release of "Black Feminist Anthropology" with Dr. Irma McClaurin. Dr. Irma McClaurin is an activist, biocultural, Black Feminist anthropologist who studies the social construction of inequality. She is the founder of the Irma McClaurin Black Feminist Archive and CEO of Irma McClaurin Solutions. A woman of many talents, an award-winning author and poet, coach, and Community Engagement strategist, who believes profoundly “you must change minds, change hearts, change policies, and change behavior to achieve transformation.”
This event is hosted by the USA Archaeology Museum, and the USA Department of English, and the USA Anthropology Program.
