Welcome to the Black Family Wellness Expo/Race & Kidney Disease!

Come join the Springfield and Wilberforce (OH) Chapters of The Links, Incorporated at St John Missionary Baptist Church for valuable information from Dr. Christopher Brown, a Nephrologist and Dr. Surender Neravetla, a Vascular Surgeon. These two doctors will increase awareness of chronic kidney disease to aid us in self-management of our health. Additionally, Cynthia Applin, a Dietitian, will inform us how to read food labels and will perform a brief cooking demonstration. An added personal touch will feature an individual who is on the kidney transplant waiting list. For our convenience, Mercy Health's Mobile Mammography Coach will be on-site to provide screenings. To schedule call Mercy directly at 937-523-9332. Numerous vendors will be available after the free lunch to provide information regarding their organizations/services. Registration is required for the free lunch.
