About this Event
The Links, Incorporated and its partners are working together to reduce health disparities in the Black community nationwide. Getting Black Americans and other people of African descent to advocate for their own healthcare is more important than ever. And working together, we can change these statistics. Education and information are key to empowering individuals to fight for their own wellness.
The Greater Providence (RI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will provide a platform for sharing information and combating health disparities impacting the Black community. Since we believe wellness is more than just physical health, the Greater Providence (RI) Chapter will also expand the event to incorporate other components of wellness which contribute to a person’s wellbeing and quality of life. The Black Family Wellness Expo will be on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) – Liston Campus, One Hilton St., Providence, RI 02905-2304.
