About this Event
Black Fae Day is an annual celebration uplifting Black people in fantasy, folklore, and fae aesthetics. It originated as a social media movement to highlight Black cosplayers, artists, and performers embracing fairy and mythical themes. The event encourages participants to dress in enchanting attire, share art and performances, and reclaim space in fantasy realms where Black representation has historically been limited.
Last year, we got rained out and had to take our party indoors. But we still had a great time. With over 100 attendees we enjoyed music, vendors and great food.
This year we are having a potluck. Bring your favorite dish to share with others.
We will have a wand making station. music, snacks and drinks. If it rains we are planning on bringing some tents. Or hide in the castle.
Kid friendly event! Come dressed in your best costume. Faes, Fairies and elf's are all welcomed.
