About this Event

Somebody poured lye and acid on Martin Green's face and melted his flesh away. He lived to tell the story but do you believe what you see and hear? Who did this and why? Can an act like this ever be justified?

Reserve your seat now for the VIP film screening and networking event we call "Black-Faced Lye," a true story based on "The Scars of Martin Green: Face The Consequences."

This experience features a short film, food and a forum of artists, activists, educators and everyday people networking to discuss the never-ending challenges of crime and punishment. This dynamic, interactive event will submerge audience members into a world of difficult circumstances, difficult decisions and difficult outcomes. Participants will deliberate the difficulties collectively and emerge from the evening greatly moved by the experience.

Black-Faced Lye contains material that is suitable for mature audiences only. No one under 18 will be admitted into the venue.
