Formed in Queensbury, West Yorkshire in 1855, Black Dyke Band is the most successful contesting band in the world. Current Yorkshire Regional Champion and National Champion of Great Britain, the band really values new music for brass, often performing works by living composers including the band’s sought-after Composer in Association, Paul Lovatt-Cooper.
