In 2025 we were the largest Black Dog Ride in Australia, lets make it even bigger in 2026.Mental illness effects 1 in 5 Australians and alarmingly 8 Australians take their lives every single day, that's one Aussie every 3 hours taking their own life.
As well as raising awareness of mental health and starting the conversation towards suicide prevention, the Black Dog Ride has in the past been immensely successful in raising vital funds for mental health charities.
Black Dog Ride spent considerable time and energy developing partnerships and memorandums with Black Dog Ride and mental health charities which met our criteria.
This criteria includes ensuring the beneficiary’s mission aligns with Black Dog Ride’s mission and is locally or nationally valued for work within the mental health sector.
