Did you know that time and time again, black dogs are overlooked in shelters, which can be a death-sentence for some of them? Black Dog October is an event we do annually to raise awareness of this and to advocate for the precious black dogs who are just as deserving of a forever home! Bring your fur-babies! Dress them up in costume (optional), and join them in the dress-up! There will be items worth hundreds of dollars being raffled off, music, key chains, bandanas, some of our own black dogs and LOTS OF FALL FUN! #HumaneSocietyofNWLA
