Black Children's Book Week is a global celebration of Black children and the importance of their representation in children's books. It also recognizes the people who ensure that Black children are represented in books and other children's media.Please join us from 5 to 7pm as we welcome three local authors to the bookstore to kick off the week.
They will share their picture book at readings throughout the evening, talk about representation in books and kick off our week-long Black Children's Book Swap AND Book Drive. Light refreshments will be served, all are welcome!

Their books will be available for purchase and signing at the store.
