The early stages lead you into "waterfall country," where you can enjoy exhilarating forest trail running and pass beneath the dramatic Sgwd Yr Eira Waterfall, setting the tone for the challenges ahead with ascents up Fan Llia and Fan Fawr.
Continuing through the iconic Bannau Brycheiniog, the route challenges your endurance with climbs up Corn Du, Pen y Fan, and Crybyn. These efforts reward you with a magnificent ridgetop run, offering sweeping views of the Welsh heartlands.
