Quentesa, with Teach Our Youth, in partnership with Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church is hosting the 2nd Annual Black Authors Book Fair (BABF), featuring local authors of African descent. This event aims to encourage culturally competent curriculums and to celebrate Black literacy and representation. #representationmattersThe BABF will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, both indoors and outdoors, at 4900 Kaplan Drive Raleigh, NC 27606. Admission is FREE. Attendees are encouraged to support vendors monetarily by purchasing their products and services. Save the date! Spread the word!
We are currently seeking vendors of all ethnicities, including 2 food trucks, in addition to authors of African decent. If you are interested in vending, volunteering, or performing, please email Quentesa at [email protected].
Vendor fees are as follows:
Retail $25
Food Trucks $50
Informational Tables FREE
A percentage of the vendor fees will be donated to Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church's continued Matthew 25 Initiative.
